Boat, Trailer, U-Haul & Large Vehicle Friendly Stays Near Wildwood

Traveling through Central Florida with a boat on a trailer, moving truck, work trailer, or larger vehicle? Parking can be just as important as the rental itself.

Dana’s Florida Getaways has four furnished rentals near Wildwood and The Villages, but the parking setup is different at each property. Suite Escape and Hidden Gem are generally the best choices for larger setups because they share access to the front half-circle driveway where guests have parked boats, trailers, U-Hauls, and larger trucks by arrangement.

Quick Parking Guide

Best for larger vehicles and trailers: Suite Escape and Hidden Gem.

Regular driveway parking: Cozy Corner Apartment and Cozy Corner Mid-Century Home. A trailer or oversized setup would need to fit safely within the available driveway space along with your vehicle.

Please contact us before booking if you are towing or bringing an oversized vehicle. Vehicle and trailer length can make a big difference.

Parking by Rental

Suite Escape

Located on the mini-farm property with access to the front half-circle driveway. This area has been used by guests with boats, trailers, U-Hauls, larger trucks, and similar setups. Arrange larger-vehicle parking in advance.

Hidden Gem

Also located on the mini-farm property and shares access to the front half-circle driveway. A good option when traveling with a larger truck, trailer, boat, or moving vehicle, subject to the size of your setup.

Cozy Corner Apartment

This property does not have a separate oversized-vehicle parking area. A boat, trailer, or larger setup would need to fit safely in the regular driveway with your tow vehicle.

Cozy Corner Mid-Century Home

Regular driveway and carport parking are available, but there is no separate large-vehicle area. Oversized setups must fit safely within the property’s normal parking space.

Who This Parking Setup Can Help

Guests arrive in Central Florida for many different reasons, and not everyone is traveling in a standard car. The extra parking option at the mini-farm property can be particularly useful for:

  • Fishing trips and tournaments with a boat on a trailer
  • Moving and relocation with a U-Haul or packed larger vehicle
  • Temporary work assignments involving work trucks or utility trailers
  • Road trips with additional equipment or a trailer
  • Longer stays where guests arrive with more gear than a typical vacation traveler

Boat & Fishing Trip Parking

If you are coming to fish Lake Panasoffkee or another nearby Central Florida waterway, Suite Escape and Hidden Gem are the first rentals to consider when you need room for a tow vehicle and boat trailer.

Parking arrangements should be confirmed before arrival so you know where to place the trailer without blocking normal access.

Moving Trucks & U-Haul Stays

A move through Central Florida can involve a long day of driving followed by another day of unloading, closing paperwork, or continuing down the road. If you are traveling with a U-Haul or moving truck, the mini-farm property may provide a much more practical setup than trying to squeeze a large vehicle into a normal parking space.

Because moving vehicles vary considerably in size, send us the approximate vehicle size before booking. We can help determine whether Suite Escape or Hidden Gem is appropriate for your setup.

Work Trucks & Utility Trailers

Contractors, field workers, traveling professionals, and other temporary workers sometimes arrive with more than a personal vehicle. Suite Escape and Hidden Gem may work for larger work vehicles or trailers because of the half-circle parking area.

If your truck or trailer is unusually long, wide, or difficult to maneuver, contact us with the approximate dimensions before reserving.
